MATERIALS
Crochet hooks: F/5 (3.75 mm) for CHILD size, H/8 (5mm) for TEEN/ADULT size (adjust hook size as needed to match gauge)

Stitch markers (optional), scissors, tapestry/yarn needle, tape measure

Round 2: ch2 (counts as hdc), hdc in same, hdc inc in each st around, join in first st (24sts)
Round 3: ch3 (counts as dc),  dc in next st, dc inc in next st, *dc in next TWO sts, dc inc in next st*, repeat from * - * to end, join in first st (32sts)
Round 4: ch4 (counts as first sc and ch3), skip next st, sc in next st, *ch3, skip next st, sc in next st*, repeat from * - * til ONE st remains, ch3, skip last st, join in first st (16 scs + 16 ch3’s)
