PATTERN
(Using F hook for Child or H hook for Teen/Adult)
Round 1: fsc 72, join in first st (use seamless join tutorial in ‘notes’ section or other technique for joining rounds) (72sts)
Round 2: ch2 (counts as hdc), hdc in each st around, join in first st (72sts)
Round 3: ch4 (counts as first sc and ch3), skip next st, sc in next st, *ch3, skip next st, sc in next st*, repeat from * - * til ONE st remains, ch3, skip last st, join in first st (36 scs + 36 ch3’s)
Round 4: ch3 (counts as dc), *skip next ch3 SPACE, dc in next sc, fpdc around previously skipped ch3 space, fptrc around same previously skipped ch3 space*, repeat from * - * til ONE ch3 space remains, skip next ch3 space, join in first st, fpdc around previously skipped ch3 space, fptrc around same previously skipped ch3 space, join AGAIN in first st (108sts)
Round 5: ch1 (counts as sc), sc2tog over next two sts, *sc in next st, sc2tog over next two sts*, repeat from * - * around, join in first st (72sts)
